Showroom open 7 days a week - Free delivery across Morocco

From El Jadida, the Oroma Diamond showroom in Casablanca is an hour or so away by road or by train. That is close enough to come and compare several rings and several settings in the same morning. For a single visit to be enough, first let an adviser on WhatsApp know what you want to see.

El Jadida - Casablanca: train or car

By road, allow about a hundred kilometres, almost all of it on motorway, so a little over an hour depending on traffic. By train, the ONCF runs fast shuttles between El Jadida and Casa Port, with several departures a day. On the timetable published by the ONCF for September 2025, it takes about 1 hour 15 minutes to Casa Oasis and 1 hour 30 minutes to Casa Voyageurs. These times are approximate: look at the day's timetable on the ONCF website before you set off.

The showroom is at Galerie Panorama, Magasin 48, in Sidi Maarouf. Choose your arrival station with this last leg in mind. Our page on our diamond jeweller in Casablanca says more about how to prepare a visit.

What compares better in person

A setting is judged on the finger and in profile. In photos, a solitaire, a halo and a pavé band sparkle in much the same way. In the hand, the differences are obvious.

  • The claws. Four leave more of the stone visible and give a round diamond a slightly square outline; six keep it round and hold it more securely. Look at the height of the head: a stone set high catches on jumpers and gloves.
  • The halo. Its row of small diamonds makes the centre look bigger. Compare it with a solitaire with a similar centre stone, from the front, then at arm's length.
  • The pavé. The small diamonds on the band sparkle with every movement. Ask whether it goes all the way round or halfway: whether the ring can be resized later depends on it.

The advantages and drawbacks of each setting are set out in solitaire, halo, pavé, trilogy: which setting to choose.

Preparing the visit so that one is enough

A round trip from El Jadida takes half a day. To leave with a decision, or nearly:

  1. A few days before, write to an adviser on WhatsApp or from the contact page: your budget, two or three photos of rings she likes, the settings you want to compare. Ask which pieces can be shown to you that day.
  2. Pick out online the designs that interest you among the engagement rings, and keep screenshots of them.
  3. Come with her finger size, or with a ring she wears on her ring finger, borrowed discreetly. The printable size guide and the article on measuring your ring size explain how.
  4. Write down your questions about the paperwork: laboratory report and number, natural or laboratory-grown origin, what the invoice states. The list is in buying a diamond with confidence in Morocco.
  5. Leave time to look at the rings near a window, away from the display spotlights.

To set the date, go through the private appointment page. If you leave without having chosen, the rest can be done on WhatsApp; whether the ring could be sent to El Jadida is for the adviser to confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Few, but well chosen. Three or four rings, one for each setting that interests you, are easier to compare than a whole display case. Beyond that, the eye tires and everything ends up looking alike.

Yes, for the look: the height of the stone and the effect of the halo or the pavé show on any finger. The size is sorted out afterwards. Ask whether the chosen design can be adjusted and by how much, because a band with pavé all the way round is hard to alter.

The train drops you at several Casablanca stations, including Casa Oasis and Casa Voyageurs, and saves you driving in the city. The car leaves you free to set your own times if the visit lasts longer than planned. Both allow the round trip in a day.

Tell the adviser, with a photo of what you are looking for, and ask what Oroma can offer you. Do not take a ring out of weariness because you made the journey: the rest can be done on WhatsApp.
